How long have you been an esthetician?
I graduated from the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco, CA, in November 2018 and have been loving every moment of this career ever since!
What does being a CIDESCO graduate mean?
It means I chose to go the extra mile for my education! I completed an advanced, extended course in esthetics that dives incredibly deep into ingredient science, skin technology, and advanced techniques. Are you a massage therapist?
Yes, I am! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) here in California, which allows me to blend deep relaxation with targeted skin results.
What skincare brands do you use?
Instead of tying myself to just one or two specific brands, I prefer to handpick the best products from a variety of lines. There are so many incredible formulations out there! When selecting products for my backbar and your home care routine, I strictly look for:
Cruelty-Free: Absolutely no animal testing, ever.
Clean & Sustainable: Consciously sourced, plant-derived ingredients and safe, high-quality synthetics.
Expertly Formulated: Products created by estheticians, scientists, or herbalists who truly understand skin biology.
Science-Backed Education: I look for rigorous research so I can confidently guarantee my clients see real, lasting results.
Microbiome-Friendly: Your skin relies on a tiny "village" of good bacteria to stay healthy and thriving. When we use harsh products, we accidentally wipe out those "villagers," which is usually when skin gets fussy and irritated!
Hormone-Safe: Many synthetic fragrances and chemicals act as endocrine disruptors, messing with your hormones and triggering a cascade of skin issues. Skincare should support your body as a whole, which is why any scents in my products come strictly from plants or the raw ingredients themselves.
How long have you been doing makeup?
For over 20 years! I’ve been utterly obsessed with makeup since I was a little girl. You can check out a gallery of my favorite looks here.
Where did you learn Gua Sha?
I’ve committed to learning from the absolute best in the industry over the years. I trained under Cecily Braden, a true pioneer in the space and creator of the viral lymphatic brush. I also studied under Clive Witham, a renowned Gua Sha expert, author of six books, and the creator of the Ecology in Motion method.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Skin Alchemy has a cancellation policy that may be applied. More information: I get life can busy and hectic, but please understand that filling a last minute appointment can be costly for a small business. If you need to cancel or reschedule please let us know 24 hours prior. If you are 30 mins late or cancel after the 24 hour mark we will charge 50% of the service fee.
